The piece presents a girl who may have had something to do with the sudden and very recent annihilation of her community. As she converses with a voice (perhaps a remnant of this community), she learns of the true nature of how the community functioned, and of how knowledge was gained and sought. Now however, she must come to terms with the end, and her own inevitable non-existence.
